Ok, so I don't know enough about him to have any strong feelings one way or another about Mr. Biden personally. However, I am very disappointed that he is Obama's choice for running mate. I think Obama could have smoothed the waters much easier had he chosen a woman as his running mate. It didn't have to be Hillary, but showing a little acknowledgment to all the feminists who were sorely disappointed that Hillary was beat out of the nomination would have been a very smart move.
This race is proving to be much closer than the democrats anticipated. Polls are showing that both McCain and Obama have somewhere around 45-47% of the vote. It sure would be interesting to see what happened if McCain chose a woman to be his running mate.

Bootcamp canceled
The bootcamp last night was canceled due to lack of participation. So, I didn't get a workout yesterday. I should have gone to the gym instead, but I didn't.

Bootcamp take 2
Well, I may be crazy, but I'm doing the bootcamp again tonight. Tanji is not around, so Apple will be running it tonight. It's a lovely rainy Seattle day today, so I'm sure it'll be even more fun tromping through the mud!

Weight Loss Boot Camp
On Monday Punkin and I did a weight loss bootcamp put on by Construction Zone.
It was run by a woman named Tanji Johnson who also happens to be known as "Stealth" from the first season of the new American Gladiators.
Yeah, so she's hard core. But one of the sweetest people I've ever met.
Well, today is Friday, FOUR DAYS later and I'm still sore from this workout. It was the toughest workout I've gone through in YEARS. Granted, I'm completely out of shape so just about anything would be difficult for me now, but this really was intense.
I'm not quite willing to sign up for this on a weekly basis just now, but I am definitely going back again after I've recovered a bit. I'm going to try to build up my push-up muscles a bit in the meantime.

Park West Gallery
I love art. I really enjoy visiting art museums and going to galleries. I love the feelings that viewing art can elicit. Sometimes these are positive feelings and sometimes they are negative. But it amazes me that there are people in the world who can express themselves so clearly in so many creative ways. And just the fact that a person can take basically a bunch of nothing and turn it into some painting or sculpture or drawing that has the ability to make another person experience emotions and wonder is completely astonishing to me.
I may not be an expert when it comes to art, but I do know what I like when I see it. I recently found the website for America's largest art dealer, Park West Gallery, which is a beautiful 63,000 square foot gallery in Southfield, Michigan. They have an impressive Picasso collection as well as the largest collection of signed Marc Chagall works and many pieces by one of my favorites, Salvador Dali.
They also offer works by living artists as well. By following the link, you can discover more about Richard E. Williams and Park West Gallery, including a link to a You Tube channel that features the Park West Gallery's many artists.
